For many architects up till now the only way to create as built BIM models was to pull together existing or design plans and manually build up a model. These plans would often be hardcopies and bare little representation of the asbuilt state of the property. The assumption up until now was that to accurate model existing sites would be too time consuming and not cost effective.
Using the latest 3D laser scanning data capture techniques eBIM™ can now quickly and efficiently survey existing buildings in 3D and hand over full as built 3D BIM models to the client.
This allows the whole design team to hit the ground running with an accurate model already in Revit.
